I am a woman who believes in using food as medicine. I believe that rest is a form of self-love and our bodies are designed to thrive. It is my desire to help busy women learn how to eat healthily and happily and live a wellness-centered life so they can feel strong, energized and confident.
My Story
When my doctor told me that I would be on medication for the rest of my life, something stirred deep within me, and I decided to take control of my health. My hormones were completely out of whack due to perimenopause, I was bloated, had IBS symptoms, and I was dead tired ALL THE TIME. On top of everything else, I struggled with my weight fluctuating like a roller coaster, was constantly famished and bounced from one fitness program and shake recipe to the other. This frustration is what set me on my journey to restore my health through nutrition, rest, and physical activity.
How I Can Help You
My expertise is in nutrition, teaching and the FASTer Way to Fat Loss®. I’ve been where you are. I know what being out of control feels like. I practice what I teach because I know how gratifying it is to take the power back and see the rest of life fall into place. Because that’s what happens. The confidence and power you achieve from something as simple as having control over your own body gives you empowerment over your entire life. I want to show you how to do this for yourself.
We’re constantly fed misinformation about nutrition and how our bodies work. All-or-nothing fad diets and fitness crazes come and go, and some work. For a while. But they’re restrictive and unrealistic to keep up in the long term. Eventually, we go back to eating the way our lives are shaped.
My goal is to educate, inspire and empower. With my guidance and the FASTer Way principles, you’ll discover the ease and benefits of having a balanced life; back-to-basics grocery shopping, choosing smart alternatives to your “junk foods”, moving your body each day, incorporating guilt-free rest and self-care, and how simple it is to make this a part of your daily routine on a lifetime basis without feeling restricted.
